Winners are determined by a stub draw. The process for each prize draw is outlined below.

Greater than 10 draws on the draw date:

The non-televised, YOU and U2, Early Bird and Final draws will be conducted in the offices of Miratel Solutions Inc., 2501 Steeles Avenue West, Suite 200, Toronto, Ontario M3J 2P1. Four (4) people will participate in the process: 2 stationed at the draw drum, 2 stationed at the computers and printer connected to the lottery ticketholder database. The four people participating in the draw process will include at least 2 bonafide employees of the licensee and 2 employees of Miratel Solutions Inc. (an AGCO registered Gaming Supplier). The process will run as follows:

Person one (caller) pulls one token from the draw drum and calls the number on the token as it is drawn. The token is then handed to Person two, the token verifier. Person one does not look into the drum when drawing a token.

Person two (token verifier) verifies that the token number called matches the number on the token.

Person three (computer verifier) verifies that the token number called matches the number on the computer screen entered through voice recognition software and accepts the winning ticket number in the lottery software application that contains the ticketholder database.

Person four (computer/printer verifier) watches the computer screen to ensure the number read aloud is the number that appears on the computer screen. They also verify that the winning ticket number is printed out on a real-time basis after acceptance.

The token is then returned to the draw drum.

Less than 10 draws on the draw date:

Person one (caller) pulls one token from the draw drum and calls the winning number on the token as it is drawn. The token is then handed to Person two, the token verifier. Person one does not look into the draw drum when drawing a token.

Person two (token verifier) verifies that the token number called matches the number on the token.

Person three (computer verifier) keys the token number called into the computer and verifies that it matches the number on the computer screen and accepts the winning ticket number in the lottery software application that contains the ticketholder database.

Person four (computer verifier) watches the computer screen to verify that the number read aloud and keyed into the computer is the number that appears on the computer screen. Person four will then handwrite the winning ticket number on the prize draw log next to the corresponding prize.

The prize draw log is initialed by both the licensee and Miratel Solutions Inc.

The token is then returned to the draw drum. The exception is for the RBC Bluesfest tickets and the Early Bird bonus tickets. The tokens are returned to the drum after the 100 draws are completed for the RBC Bluesfest tickets and the last Early Bird bonus ticket winner has been drawn.

For prizes valued under $5,000 the draw drum is spun after 150 draws have been completed. The drum is spun at least three times. For prizes valued above $5,000, the draw drum is spun after each draw. The drum is spun at least three times.
